When I press gas, car is hesitant to pick up like usual and is a little stiff when turning. Also my car has a whistling sound when I start it.

For the steering the whislte you are hereing and has to do with your power steering pump,may be low fluid or bad pump,as far as the hesitant take off,lead,s me toward fuel filter may be stopped up.
And all so check,for vacume hose leak,s under hood on engine.

I have a 2007 chevy trail blazer and when it starts up fine but when I go to press on the gas it sounds like my engine is racing. Anyone know what it is.
