2006 Chevy Trailblazer

When I try to shift into gear it just goes back and forth and doesn't connect with
any thing, just stays in park.

    I will drive my trailblazer it will get up to around 55 mph and the RPM will jump not a lot but you can fill it then it will stop then it will do it again
