I have a 05 Chevy Avalanche and it's been making the sound that's hard to explain.. imagine taking an aluminum can and slowly crushing it (5-10mph) The sound gets louder and faster when I accelerate. 1 Answer

when I pull a 21 ft trailer, the engine whine is outrageous. I've never heard so many tones coming from an engine. Is this normal? 2 Answers

This whine happens while pulling on long up hill climbs when it kicks into gear. Whether it is in drive or third gear...the engine whine is the same. Doesn't seem right.
