I have a 1993 Toyota 4runner 4×4
manual 5speed 6 cylinder 3.0 my tranny
went out I bought a tranny from a 1990
Toyota it looked the same except on
further inspection I see mine had  
electric speedometer cable and the
new tranny has regular speedometer
cable how do I make it work

Unless you can retrofit the correct electrical sender onto the old transmission you are SOL. You can use a GPS app on your smart phone in lieu of a speedometer.
