Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The engine runs hot and there is absolutely no power. It drives but very slowly. It literally sounds like a lawnmower. There is coolant spray all over the engine and engine compartment. I also smell gasoline in the cab while driving. What is the problem.

I think there is going to be a lot of repairs. Should take it to a shop for repair. The catalytic converter sounds plugged, the thermostat should be changed out, the engine coolant hoses and radiator need to be inspected, radiator fans looked at, possible water pump, and hopefully you don't have a bad head gasket.
