Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1995 4 runner starts fine then runs for about 10 min. and just stops running (just like as if you turned the motor off)this happens alot.(all the time)when I am driving along the motor just stops (as if I turned the key to off).I then start it up again just to do the whole thing over again in a mile or two. It always starts fine everytime. Any ideas? all will be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
Motor is a 2200 RE

Hello, There are many possible causes for this behavior. I would recommend bringing to a mechanic. If you want to try fixing it yourself, I would check into the possibilities of a stuck or broken thermostat or bad gaskets. Best of luck! CarGrrl
