1997 Toyota 4runner 2wd questions

I just purchased a 1997 Toyota 4runner 2wd, Couple of things. The trip meter works but not the speedometer, does anyone know what I need to do to get this working,  
It has 138k miles on it and I want to change the oil, what oil do you suggest that I use?

oil & filter is up to you,or get the oil change special at auto zone.as for the spedometer it works electronice,may have to change the cluster.

ok hmm well I guess I will go by the toyota dealer today and see what's up, I also have to see if I can get another key since he only had one. Thank you for your time I appreciate it.
