oxygen sensor keeps going bad

My 2003 Toyota 4 runner oxygen sensor  ( code 136) bank 2 keeps going bad ,  this is the 4th one I put in . I would be so bad but when the sensor goes bad it shuts off the  trac control on the car .

Have you check to see if your Catalytic Converter is clogged...

Then there is a few thing that will cause what happening to you, 1) Your ECM needs some reprogramming because you car maybe running on the lean side letting to much gas in 2) Are you putting fuel injector cleaner in the car on a regular basis? 3) You may be leaking some anti-freeze into the combustion chamber and going into the exhaust system

Check wiring going to sensor it might be brittle, corroded or grounding out

I have put in 10 oxygen sensors in the 2 years I have had my 4Runner. I've had it to 4 different mechanics. They continue to burn out every couple months. No one can figure it out. Occassionally it will shake and miss at the red light or stop sign. Once it got terrible gas mileage. But most of the time it runs fine.

Is there any solution that will clean my Knox senor . The car runs great but the senor light stay on . Can't get it inspected

air filter incorrect seal..dirty maf sensor will cause ecu to dump gas in..burning ur sensors

Did you ever figure out what it was? @ Chris from 2016. I'm having the same issue with my 2003 4Runner
