Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put my battery terminals on the wrong way didnt
notice it smoked a little and i tryd starting it
without noticing. I noticed i blew the 120 amp alt
fuse and a 15 amp efi fuse. The battery is in
correcty now but i only have my dome light nothing
else works. If i put a new 120 amp alt fuse in it will
i get all my dashlights and my power seats and
everything battery related working again? And Are
there any other fuses i need to look for i went over
all the others and none of them looked blown.
Thanks for the help i need this car to get to work!

Check all the fuses, relays, fusible links, and any inline fuses you may have. Check the voltage regulator on the alternator. Fusible links are designed to blow in case of spurious voltage spikes, consult a manual or Google where those are located (they look like a fat wire and when they blow they expand).
