i need the small manual for lock programming on xls

Asked by jerryconn Sep 12, 2007 at 12:15 PM about the 2000 Toyota Avalon XLS

Question type: General

No one seems to have the supplemental manual that tells how to program the lock system for various options.  Now, the doors automatically lock when the car is put into gear.  I don't like that option.

A dealership should be able to change the settings in the BCM for you. I know at Dodge we used the DRB-II, the only way for a customer to do it was to go through a series of steps listed in the owner's manual, but that often didn't work.
