Is this gas leak going to be a huge expense?
Do you know WHERE it is leaking from? Gas line or fitting? Top of the tank? Filler neck? EVAP line or cannister? Some leaks can be much worse than others, not only dangerous to you but may also let water into the tank. May want to crawl around under there and pinpoint it, replacing a tank isn't that bad an expense, and lines are cheap.
