Avalon, Preset radio stations "self erased"

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Avalon XLS.  Last week I started the car to leave work and all preset radio stations had "erased themselves".  In dash clock did not reset and I noticed no other changes that would indicate a problem with the battery.  Car seems to start right up and lights don't dim, so I don't think its the alternator.  Any clues to what might be causing this?

Maybe you have a loose connection on the back of the radio unit in the dash.
