2005 toyota avalon trunk lid keeps popping open>

I don't think it is the remote because it kept opening even AFTER I removed the battery
from the remote (for over two hours). I have only one remote.

Is there a button inside the car? If so it could be stuck or malfuctioning.

is there a cute little indicator light on the dashboard that lets you know "the trunk is open"?....when does this come on? after a bump, or it Never closes?
