About car not being start?

I was driving my car today and it suddenly got stopped. I don't know what is
wrong with it. When i tried to restart the car it won't start. Does this means my
battery is dead as when i tried after 8 hrs it started for a bit and then again it got
stopped. Can you please tell me how to fix it ?

Just had this problem. It was my mass air flow sensor.$82.00 2 screws next to your air filter box. Easy fix
