Battery light flickers.

Asked by AbhilashRao85 Jan 28, 2016 at 11:36 AM about the 2006 Toyota Avalon XLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2006 Toyota Avalon, has 130000 miles on it. The car is in pretty good condition, had new spark plugs put into all 6 cylinders around the 125000 mark. The car now shows the Battery light on the dashboard. The strange thing is the light just flickers on and off. Not like the periodic flickering I generally see, but it seems as if there is a loose connection somewhere which trips this indicator on and off. Any suggestions?

May be something loose but I would go by a shop to have the battery tested, and the charging system checked. (alternator) It only takes a few minutes.
