how to stop crank from moving while rmoving bolt

You need a chain or belt wrench wrapped around the pulley to hold it while you loosen the nut with your breaker bar. Sometimes all that is needed is a high torque impact gun.

Using an air compressor, remove one of the spark plugs and fill the cylinder with compressed air. About 150 PSI is good. That will hold the crankshaft in place while you use your impact gun to remove the bolt. Hope that helps! Jim
