ac not cooling

after ac has been working. it starts to blow hot air. system has been recharged to 40 psi but still have the same trouble. seems to be an intermitant problem thinking maybe eletrical? any ideas?

Hi mlcharlestonsc, You could have a short somewhere in the electrical system, but I would think it would be more likely that you have a faulty relay or a bad compressor clutch. Good luck!

Thank You for the backup I've been leaning heavy towards the electrical aspect of the compressor. Hav'nt had time to check out the problem, but will keep all informed.

Sorry no update: Changed ISP account went DSl WOW what a differance. Today I switch around the fan and AC relay to see if this helps. Will twat drive for a while and update later.

Still working on this problem, Decided it is a bad compressor clutch. All relays are working fine. any idea on hoe to remove clutch without removing the compressor?

Today I teted the air, works great. Changed out compressor, dryer and expancation valve also clean out all a/c lines evaporator and condencer. Found all parts on line for under $200, at this site http://www.techchoiceparts.com/ Thank you all for your help
mine was blowing cold air then hot air, took it to a repair shop and they found 2 acorns in the squirrel cage, removed them and now it works.
The AC in my toyota camry blowing hot air what could be the problem..today the first day of blowing hot air
