Has anybody else had problems with the door handles of the car breaking off? I have had this car for about 4 years and this has happened to me twice, and I have noticed this on a couple of other camry's while driving ha.

I have a 98 Camery and that happened to my from drivers door. Someone told me that it happens a lot on the Toyotas.
Ya i have a 2000 Camry and my driver door handle snapped off. I never bothered to fix it though because the dealership told me it would cost around $400.
Yep. Just buy the handle from the internet (tons of sites selling them for less than 50 bucks) and have your local mechanic replace it. Or you could do it yourself: http://autorepair.about.com/od/otherodddiyjobs/l/aa092504a.htm
thats extremely common on toyotas from the mid 90s, i had a corolla do the same thing... theyre not real expensive i bought a used one from an auto recycler for 15 dollars, and replaced it myself ...it took about 30 mins....joe
I have a 85 Toy Camry and the Door Handle is broken. The cause is a plastic piece on the inside that breaks. I'll post a pic so you can see what happens.
