Will a 98 toyota camry engine and tranny fit into a 93 camry?

I have a 93 camry that the engine began to get rod
knock and now completly stopped working snd i
seen a good condition engine and tranny but want
to know if it will fit into the engine bay of my 93

no- that old thing is nearly worthless, so why not just buy another car? I admire your efforts at recycling tho-
You might consider a call to a Automotive Salvage Yard. They have computer software suggesting engine swap info. If it is a "bolt in swap" with no mods..... you will need the Engine Computer and wiring harness from the donor vehicle.
It isn't the same 93 has a distributor the 98 has power coils. However if you strip it to the block and change the intake valve cover it will work just make sure the cam gears match the distributor.
And as for that old thing goes. Not meaning any insult. The 1992 to 1995 camry is an great car. It's good to recycle. But the car industry changes their products every 3 years . Just so you can't canolbulize forcing you to buy new. That's the facts as I have seen in my 36 years of mechanics
