Problem with 93 toyota camry 2.2

My car just shut off on me yesterday while I was
driving it so I tried to crank it back up again but it
just turns over but won't start and I ran a wire to
the fuel pump because someone suggested that I
should do that but it still won't crank........plesase
anyone with a good solution please feel free to
give me a comment with this problem

test for spark , test for fuel pressure , test for ground for the fuel pump if no pressure , make sure the injectors are firing

Did you test crank sensor? Did you hear fuel pump? If crank sensor is bad it will shut off power to fuel pump.

Do you have any way to check for spark and fuel delivery? Did you notice the check engine light on when the engine was running?
