1993 Toyota Camry

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Toyota Camry will turn over but will not start.
Been driving it for awhile and the other night it
came a good rain. To go through the puddles that
was across the road. The battery light came on
twice. The following morning it would not start up.
I even changed out the battery with a new that was
in my truck. I did notice my radio was reset and off.
Don't have any clue to what is going on.

Battery light is usually an alternator issue. No start is not alternator. No start is probably fried starter or burnt contacts. You can rebuild that starter for cheap.

I can get it to crank but no start I checked the ignition coil. I used a volt meter that is a instrument type. Not a digital one. But it showed it was bad. From what I could tell.
