rough starting

Asked by camryjeff Dec 21, 2015 at 12:51 PM about the 1994 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car completely died on me and I
checked my battery and alternator both. My
alternator checked bad but my battery was
fine except had been drained by the
alternator. I've been charging my battery up.
After a few days I just checked them both
again and now is showing that my
alternator is fine. So what do you think
could be the problem? Bad wire or short? If
so where do I need to check? There's a wire
by my alternator that's exposed. Could that
possibly be the problem?
