What Engine is in this vehicle? Mileage? Is the Check Engine Light ON when the Engine is running?
White smoke on initial start up means valve stem guides are worn, Need a head job. The back firing might've been caused when u tried to start it, it fed fuel in system but didn't have enough juice in the battery to turn it over so your plugs got flooded and after you jumped it just had too much gas, nothing to worry about unless it keeps doing it. The smoke that you saw, r u sure it wasn't dark due the same condition?

In The mileg yes The engine light is on and thoes backfire and black smoke thoes come out.
