Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Am driving and all of a sudden my car starts
smoking, so I pull over because am afraid its gone
to catch on fire. But when I pop the hood to look in
car it looks like something holding some type of
fuild busted and I don't know what the part is.

A pic would help. Sometimes if a power steering hose leaks it sprays on to the exhaust header and gives off an intense burning smell. PS fluid is under pressure so it can spray far. If it was a leak in the brake fluid you would know it right away, as the brake pedal would sink to the floor and you would lose braking.
