If it only burned the very end that goes into the alternator, the easiest thing would be to go to a local junk yard and cut the length you need from a junk car. Then solder or splice the wire together and bolt it back on to the alternator. Otherwise, you will have to dig deep into the wiring harness which means cutting all of the protective coating off with a razor blade and tracing it back to the end. Not a fun job.....
