I have a 96 camry. The key will not move completely to the lock position unless I slam the shift lever to park. Sometimes it will not start unless I shift the lever to neutral. Is there an adjustment to move the lever to park (naturally).

Yes they can be adjusted.

You will need to have it on a lift and adjust it at the transmission.
