Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a problem with my Toyota Camry SV40 Model. The Speedo Meter is playing up
simultaneously affecting gear shifting. The speed meter reaches 40kmh and falls back to
zero which also affect gear shifting I guess. I have changed the Speedo sensor but the
problem still exist. Please assist.

Your best bet is to go to a salvage yard and get a new cluster. When the speedo or tach begin to act up, your car will not shift correctly. Which you have discovered. Or remove your existing cluster and send it to http://www.aaellc.com/ for a complete rebuild.
