this may not be a problem unless you are getting exstemly poor gas milage. city milage is always less than highway miles. it takes more gas to take off from a stop and because you have more stop and starts in the city it normal for the gas milage to be less. gas milage in the city and highway will very from car to car. if tuned right it shouldn't be more than a few miles differnts. hope this helps you fell more at ease.
