I replace the starter in my 97 Toyota camry by the time I connect the battery the starter runs without stopping until I unplug the battery Can you guess the reason way ?

IF.......this issue did not exist BEFORE the starter motor replacement...then my guess is bad replacement starter motor. If this issue is the original issue you are trying to fix....my guess is bad starter motor relay. The diagnosis would require the use of a Digital Volt Ohm Meter. .
