1997 Camry speedometer stopped working

Asked by Yvette Oct 31, 2017 at 06:07 PM about the 1997 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My speedometer goes out and my shifting
goes out of wack when I'm driving.  It
happens every couple weeks.
I'm ignorant to what is happening and I truly
would appreciate it if someone could
explain it and what steps needed to fix it.
I'm trying to learn so I don't feel so helpless.

clean the EGR port , clear the code and see what happens , it's not rocket science but they like to charge you for it , good luck
