97 Camry overheating

My 97 Camry overheats
and the fans come one as
soon as I turn on the
ignition. Anyways I pulled
the thermostat, bypassed
the heater core and
replaced the water pump,
nothing seems to work.
Water keeps on backing up
in to the resivor and
spilling over. As well as my
upper radiator hose gets
hot and my lower hose not
nearly as much.
Anybody have this problem
or any helpful solutions???

First of all put thermostat back in and reconnect heater core then bleed air from system like this remove cap from overflow tank fill with antifreeze to full mark leave cap off and start vehicle and let idle you will notice level in tank start to rise this is normal once thermostat starts to open level in tank will drop add more antifreeze to full mark then put cap back on.

Sounds like you have a clogged radiator. Have you ever used radiator leak fix that comes in a bottle? DON'T! Those things are designed to clog up. Yeah it can fix a leak, but it can also clog up your water pump and pretty much your whole system. Disconnect tour lower radiator hose and see if the fluid comes out there. Make sure not to spill the coolant, because it is toxic to animals.
