What is wrong with my Car

My car will turn over but it makes a clicking noise and the starter is shaking. What does this mean?

try and jump..check battery charge/and under a load..starting..loose starter and or solenoid replace starter/solenoin tighten...

Clarification needed. You seem to be indicating the engine cranks over and the engine starts up and runs, however, the cranking part has an unusual noise...perhaps a clicking sound when it is functioning. Is this description correct?

You need a new starter...$100 new...$25 juckyard...you get what u pay for...mine just was doing that..replaced before it dies...i brought the $100 one n life time warrantly
