Put new battery alternator

Check all fuses related to the charging system, (ie, Alt. etc.) Also, 99.9% of all electrical problems are caused by bad connections. So Check that all connections to and from battery, alternator, etc. are clean (free from corrosion), and all are tight. Hope this helps. Merry Xmas.
IMO...you need a DVOM(Digital Volt Ohm Meter) to check this out. There are several wires carrying current to and from the Alt. Thus...that DVOM comes in handy. You can buy one at Walmart for about $20.00 if you are inclined to go on an adventure and diagnose this issue yourself.
