I have a 1998 toyota camry. I had been having
problems with getting the key out of the ignition
once the car was in park. I have watched a few
videos. Ive tried to manual override... didn't work. I
checked by brake lights... theyre fine. I have
noticed that the shifter has what seems to be a
soft spot in the middle. Probably from keep
slamming it to get the car in park to get the key
out. I'm now at a loss what to do next.
