sensor turn the cooling fan on

The engine temp sensor, radiator coolant thermostat, radiator fan relay, the fuse, fan wires, or the fan clutch. Check the fuses. . Using a voltmeter, check voltage from the relay to the fan, if theres voltage then the problem is most likely the fan. The fan relay is located under the hood. If there is no reading it could be the relay. Check the temp sensors which are usually located in the car thermostat cover. Unplug the sensor and touch the two wires together. If the fan comes on then the sensor needs to be replaced. If all this is working properly then it is probably the fan clutch is bad. And youll need to replace it.
