Temperature gauge

My car just recently started running hot and I
found out that see heater core was bad so I
bypassed it and put a new sensor on and it's
still running hot what could be the problem

What Engine in this Vehicle? Which Sensor was replaced? Do you hear the Cooling Fans running when she's hot? Anyone check the Coolant Level?
