my 2000 camry is driving with drive and low gear on at same time. changed out shift sensor(neutral safety switch) and still doing it. now it will not shift between drive and low when i unplug the sensor. i am lost.

Clarification... are you indicating the transmission is stuck between gears...or...the tranny INDICATOR is in between D and L...and...the transmission operates fine and shifts normally?
