I would imagine it would be around 110 or 120, but no confirmations of anyone reaching this speed.

If I confirmed that I drove at 120 mph in a 2000 Toyota Camry, with a 4-cylinder engine, I could get a speeding ticket. So, I am not confirming it.

I have gone 125 in a 2000 Camry LE V6 with the rare 5-speed stick, this was in fourth of course and not fifth because you need the increased power at that point to even maintain that kind of speed. And this was with 5 people in the car, haha. Not my best idea ever...So I bet with less people it can do 135 or so? Speedo goes up to 140 so they are probably not really exaggerating with that one.

The top speed of a car is limited by a governor. That number is set by the maximum speed rating of the tires. If it were set any higher than that, the car manufacturer would be liable if the tire came undone. Parker said that.

The speedometer on my 2017 V6 Accord goes up to 160mph. That means nothing. See above comment. Parker

Ive got my Camry up to 135mph on a drag strip easy. It's a beautiful LE v6 and it drives fantastic!

Like all other cars, the governor is set based on the top RPM rating of the tires. The Camry XSE-V6 is set for 136mph. (Car and Driver) My 2017 Accord V6 is 0.2 seconds faster on the 0to60 run. LOL, negligible. :-) . . . . DON

I set my cruise with my 1999 Toyota solara sle v6 dohc @140 weither the speedometer was completely accurate... I feel no more than a couple mph off ... Positive or negitive I confirm that the solara does bury the speedo

Not a v6 Camry owner but I got a 4 cylinder, 4th gen Camry and I went 120 on highway it started shaking bad so I coasted back down to 80. Thankfully it didn’t blow up and it still running solid a year n half later
