Toyota Camry or Lexus ES300 - is there a difference?

Typically Toyota Lexus and scion will interchange parts per brand. Immediately you'll notice a Lexus comes standard more luxurious than a lesser brand. But if you research the engines and transmissions you should find that they could be the same. If price is what you're looking at then it would be a personal preference.
OK, but, is it more expensive to maintain the Lexus... if you are bringing it in for professional mechanic work?
In my research I've discovered that the price difference of upkeep isn't notable. The Camry isn't particularly a cheap car and the ES not particularly an expensive car. So there's not much brand to up selling to do there. So it seems that it will boil down to personal preference. Keep in mind the Lexus comes with more bells and whistles, more is nice but also more stuff to break in the future. Depending on the package you go with, you're looking at navigation, heated seats, moon roof, and so on... All additional features to consider in your question. As far as service these two cars shouldn't cost much different, but if you consider the Lexus having more in it than the Camry then you are ultimately gearing yourself towards investing more money in the Lexus. Hope this helped
