Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My aging mother just gifted her slightly used 2001 camry. Given the age of
the car is there any additional maintenance to do besides what is scheduled
for the actual mileage? Tks

Just have it checked out, how it runs, belt, probably a timing belt, tires, alignment, all your normal stuff.
If it were mine, I would have the timing belt changed along with the tensioner, idler (if equipped) and water pump. Also I would change all the fluids, filters and install a new set of spark plugs. I would be most concerned with the timing belt due to its age.
Also as Rowefast suggested, have a look at the tires and maybe check the date codes. Tires older than 6 years can be unsafe.
Right on Bob, thanks for the more detail on the timing stuff.
