Radiator fans not staying engaged

Asked by John Jun 07, 2018 at 04:41 PM about the 2002 Toyota Camry SE V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car over heating. Radiator fans not
coming on to cool. If I turn on ac the
fans temporarily come on for about 5
seconds. I've replaced thermostat.
Thermostat sensor on block, radiator
cap, checked all fuses and relays.
Checked all connecyions( nothing
eroded or disconnected that I can
see)unplugged radiator sensor at
bottom of radiator, the fan did not
start. I dont know if that means its fan
its self or the sensor. Please help. Also
I dont know if this has any bearing or
help. But all the exhaust oxygen sensor
from all banks are reading error on the
odb reader. Could it all be an electrical
issue coming from the main fuse box
in engine? Maybe bad connection?

Sounds like the fan control module failed, but did you check all fuses and relays?
