Why does my battery keep going dead

Asked by RW1981 Dec 29, 2021 at 11:12 PM about the 2004 Toyota Camry LE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry, the throttle body
went out and was sitting for 2 years. We put a
new battery in it 6 months ago and we
recently got a new throttle body for it. We had
to jump it off after fixing it and it runs fine now
but after it sits over night the battery goes
dead again and we have to jump it off, but
when we do all the lights start flashing. Any
ideas on what’s causing the dead battery and
flashing lights?

Which lights are flashing....name them. When the engine is running....Is the Check Engine Light on or flashing?
