Replace the stereo. Fixing it is probably not worth it.
something may be jammed in the unit holding things from running, the best you can do is disconnect the battery positive for 30 seconds and reconnect maybe ,worth a try
If the unit accepts the CD...then ejects it properly...my guess it needs to be removed for repair. What happens when you try a different CD.?
