2005 camry le will not start.

Asked by Jimmy Mar 01, 2020 at 12:44 PM about the 2005 Toyota Camry LE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car was running hot so I
replaced the thermostat and the
radiator because the radiator was
busted.  It ran hot on me a few
times. I stopped the car and shut
it off before the temp maxed out
and added water.  Now there is
water in my oil. I figure that is the
head gasket needs to be
replaced. But when I try to crank
it the engine turns over ( it has a
slight jerking while it is turning
over) but it will not start? Any
suggestions?

Suggest you remove Spark Plugs from this engine before you attempt another Crank. You may have Coolant in a cylinder. Remove SP and then crank her over. Anything come flying out of the cylinders?
