Drivers door windows normally get used more than the others. It's probably time to replace its window motor.

If you can hear the motor when you try to operate the window then it'll be a problem with your window regulator (the mechanism that moves the window up an down), if you can't hear the motor then It's more likely to be a fault with the motor as you said it wouldn't work with the central locking. This means your car has a total closure system, ie you press a button and all windows and sunroof close. These systems are usually seperate wiring from the switched circuit used to operate the windows from inside the car, so, if the windows don't work on either circuit then the one thing they do have in common is the motor.

Although I'm not trying to discredit judge roys answer, it is also quite plausible that the wiring could be broken where the door hinges, its a fairly common fault on Peugeot 406 because of the cheap ass French wiring.

how much it costs to replace the motor of the window? My driver side of my 2006 camry window is not making any noise. Or its going up or down? I hope that I do not pay a lot for the motor.

Hi um I got the same problem with mine . Yeah I was as the right back passenger side and I wanted to roll down the window and it went down the only problem was that it went up have way but not correctly . We tried pulling it up and hitting the switch it worked that day . But in the other day that window started to go down on its self . So I think it move out of place .
