Its on page 124 or your manual. If you don't have one here is what you do. 1. Make sure you odometer is showing the mileage, not trip A or trip B. 2. Turn the key to the on position (only so that all of the electronics turn on, don't start the engine.) 3. Push in, and hold, the knob that is next to the odoemeter (the trip reset knob) 4. 5 lines should show up on your odometer display. Continue to hold in the knob until all 5 lines disappear one by one and your light should be reset. Best of luck.
I did the above and it did not reset for my 2006 toyota camry. Could I be doing something wrong or could the reset not be working?
For 2017, a small but vital correction to lightGear's original answer. I very recently purchased a 2006 Camry, and just this morning the Maint Requ light turned on. Turning it off is easy-- BUT you've absolutely got to get the sequence of things right. 1. As lightGear said above, make sure the odometer is set to show the total mileage, not either of the two trip mileages. 2. IMPORTANT: Press and hold down the odometer button FIRST. Then turn the ignition switch to On while continuing to hold down the odometer buttion. If you turn the key first and then press the odometer button, nothing will happen. 3. Assuming you've done the preceding step correctly, after a few seconds, you'll see all zeroes appear momentarily in the odometer display. 4. Bingo! All set.
