Hello, Usually a general tune up will consist if spark plugs and or spark plug wires. Also a fuel filter, air filter check and a fuel injection flush will do wonders! Dave

Dave, Thank you for your reply. I wonder how much this will cost in Los Angeles area. What kind of plugs are best? Thank you, Bill
you might want to do an oil change as well, replace the pvc valve on the valve cover,
i found that ngk plugs work best in the jap cars but i see you have a v6 in yours...the front 3 plugs are no problem but have fun getting the back 3 plugs out... from what i remember you cant even see them pop your hood and see how hard they look to change if they are a bitch but you think you can tackle them anyway spent the extra money and get the platinum or irridium plugs good for 100,000 miles...theyll run you 6 or 7 bucks each but after you change them you wont want to do it again anytime soon usually a fuel filter and air filter yeild the best results for getting your gas milage back but be careful changing the filter i believe it has quick release clips that can break way too easy take a look at the filter and call a few auto parts store to make sure you can get replacement clips...

any more ideas folks. the performance goes down so far on these cars yet the real issue is the computer and input sensors. In addition, the computers can be hacked just like any other computer. if you were an oil company CEO wouldn't you like to de-tune a perfectly good car to get poor mileage. somehow the cars in Europe get double the mileage of U.S. cars. Do you think it could be the spark plugs?
