2001 Toyota solara vle reset check engine light

How exactly do I reset this? Go to trip B, turn off, turn to on while holding reset button for
5 sec and then start? This did not work!  Help

Sounds like your trying to reset the maintenance light, which you need to be on trip A not trip B. But if its your check enigine light that is on that procedure will not reset it. you need to get the codes read somewhere and figure out why its on.

What you mentioned is exactly what the garage boss had said this morning. I just hope it works or my vehicle will fail inspection. The car is a 2001 4-cylinder Camry Solara with less than 60,000 miles. Thanks for your input. Mitkit
