I just purchased a used 2004 V6 SE Solara. The car the runs great and looks great but the engine seems loud.

Is this normal?  The car is under warranty so I'm covered but not sure if the engine should sound like this.Traci

Could be a number of things. Take it to a dealership or a TRUSTED mechanic, ask for a diagnostic. Tell them don't fix anything, but you want a printout of all that is wrong or needs to be replaced, as well as what needs to be replaced soon.

Also sign up on www.solaraguy.com It's the best for anything and everything solara. If your into aftermarket or not, these guys know it all... Gen1 and Gen2.
