Car wont accelerate when stepping on gas.

I have a 2006 Toyota Solara. Just recently
my car won't accelerate when I step on the
gas pedal. I have to really step on it hard,
and it takes a Couple of seconds to move
and when it does it jerks forward as if I'm
blasting the gas for a race. Once I'm on the
road and it's going it seems normal, but
when I stop at a stoplight, I have the
problem again when the light turns green
and I step on the gas. I step on the gas,
sounds like it wants to go but it doesn't
move...them wham, it jerks forward
sometimes my tire spins in place. Tried
cleaning air filter. Problem remains. Any
idea what else I can do?

Mine does the same, I changed the throttle body but still having the same issue. Now the mechanic tell me it must be de accelerator gas pedal sensor. If you resolve the problems let me know.

My toyota Solara want start this morning i have gotten everything fixed on the car the radiotor water pump coolent System sensor raditor holes changed an now my car want start
